Far East

In 1997, Electri-Cord formed a strategic alliance with one of the largest cord manufacturers in the Far East so that we could further improve service to our customers. Many companies in the US want to buy their cords from only one supplier, no matter what the cord configuration is or where the cord will ultimately be used. Many of our larger customers have established manufacturing plants in different parts of the world and want to maintain the same approved vendor list they worked to develop in the US.

Our partner is registered to ISO 9002 and has three different manufacturing locations:

Tao Yuan, Taiwan ROC

Shenzhen, China PRC

Shanghai, China PRC

We can either stock their products here in Westfield, PA for distribution to our US customers, or we can work with the requirements of our customers' local facilities, no matter where in Asia or Europe they may be located.

Samples and inspection data can be supplied to our customers with the normal rapidity of dealing with a US supplier. Then, when the time comes to start servicing international locations, no further vendor searches and expensive approval processes are necessary.

And, to remain competitive in the ever-shrinking global marketplace, Electri-Cord and its partner are both heavily involved with automating their production so that not only is their competitiveness maintained, but the quality of their products remains second to none.
